I remain confident that I will be vindicated at the end of this process, in the spirit of the highest principles of Kenyan justice. I am a law-abiding citizen who has endured an over two-year legal ordeal as various spurious charges were laid against me. I now hope the case is resolved in the shortest possible time.

I will continue to work towards my vision to empower Africa’s people, to boost employment and entrepreneurship in Kenya and across Africa, and to encourage African investors to invest in our great continent.

I am grateful to the many people who have sent me goodwill messages and to all those who have believed in me and stood by me through this difficult time. Your support is greatly appreciated.
